[Panel Discussion] „Now-ness“ at The Bartlett School of Architecture in London
The Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory is pleased to announce a panel discussion “Now-ness” at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL), to be held on October 14. The panel will respond to the following questions: How do we, as architects and philosophers, relate to the actuality of our experiences of the world? How does architecture present itself as an agent for change, anticipation or cure? How can designing, building and intervening in today’s environment resonate with our anthropogenic habitats and cities? And how does this align with our experience of the present and future?
Participants: Charlotte Skene Catling (Skene Catling de la Peña), Jonathan Wolff (Oxford University), Petar Bojanić (University of Belgrade and Khōrein), Andrea Canclini (Lancaster University and Khōrein), Lidia Gasperoni (Bartlett), Stelios Giamarelos (Bartlett), Aya Jazaierly (Loughborough University and Khōrein), Mpho Matsipa (Bartlett), and Snežana Vesnić (University of Belgrade and Khōrein).
This event is co-organized by the IFDT and Khōrein: Journal of Architecture and Philosophy.
