Inaugural Volume Published
The inaugural volume of Khōrein: Journal for Architecture and Philosophy consists of two issues, both of which thematize the conjunction “and” found in the journal’s name. The two issues bring two different ways of emphasizing this word – one that involves the use of quotation marks (architecture “and” philosophy) and the other that suggests writing in cursive (architecture and philosophy). The editorial decision to introduce this distinction, however, is not aimed at classifying or (dis)connecting various reflections on the “and.” Instead, it only testifies to the and’s discursive potentials.
